Meet Dr. Brown-Adderley

Dr. Brown-Adderley earned her undergraduate degree with a Bachelors of nursing in 1994. She went on to pursue a graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and did research on "the length of stay with patients who underwent Aortic Aneurysm Repair open repair versus endoscopic repair"  in 2003. She practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Florida as she saw a diverse population from birth to geriatrics, from July 2004 until she relocated to Atlanta, Ga in 2013. She earned a doctorate degree from her alma Mata, Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in August 2014 with a D.NP. (Doctor of Nursing Practice). Her research evaluated a "Diabetes self-care program in African Americans in a faith-based congregation". She also reviewed and co-authored a poster board presentation on "Prostate Cancer in African American Men" in May 2013.


She is a clinician at Emory University Hospital where her patient population includes cancer patients with solid tumors. She is also an adjunct clinical Nursing Professor at the Nell Woodruff  School of Nursing, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
